The Saddle

In this post UI am putting together all my information on the appropriate touring saddle.

The standard trusted much loved touring saddle on the internet appears to be the B17 standard by Brooks and comes it at 95 euros.

However a relatively new saddle called the Selle An Atomica Titanico is aparently much more comfortable and it was designed by a guy who had 15,000 miles on a brooks b17 bike. It features a 'revolutionary' design that has a split down the saddle supposedly to stop numbness.
This saddle is also said to be comfortable right out of the box. Whereas the B17 needs to be broken in like a pair of shoes.

Sprung vs Unsprung

Sprung saddles weigh more and make noises but it absorbs bumps much better.
